KAT Apprentice Program

Junior Apprentices must be at least twelve years old, with no prior apprentice experience, and enrolled in Youtheatre, Classroom responsibilities will be the primary focus.
Senior Apprentices must be 13 - 18 years old, enrolled in Youtheatre, and must have received a positive apprentice evaluation from the previous summer. Duties will include snack-time concessions, helping with classroom projects, assisting with strike of the Youtheatre set, and other support as needed.

Those chosen as Apprentices will be considered staff-in-training and will be given special T-Shirts and an honorarium for services rendered. Junior Apprentices will receive $25.00 on the last day of classes (July 24th). Senior Apprentices will receive $75.00 payable on Monday, July 28th, at the conclusion of strike. Please note: For Senior Apprentices, attendance for strike on Sunday, July 27 from 4 – 8 pm AND Monday, July 28, 9 – 5 is MANDATORY. Unfortunately, no exceptions for attendance at strike can be made. Please take this under consideration when you make your decision to apply.
