Tara Holmes

Choreographer

Tara Holmes is the Adjunct Assistant Dance Professor of Fine and Performing Arts at Colby-Sawyer College and holds an M. Ed with a Concentration in Integrated Arts from Plymouth State University. Holmes has her undergraduate degree from Roger Williams University with a B.A. in Dance Performance Studies and Secondary Education, which she received in May 2009. This is Holmes’s second year teaching the dance courses at Colby Sawyer. She also has choreographed for musical productions including Godspell, Peter Pan, and a Star Spangled Salute with organizations including Educational Theatre Collaborative in Plymouth, NH and Kearsage Arts Theatre Company, in Kearsage, NH. Holmes is also an Afternoon School Teacher at Windy Hill. Tara is also dancing for a modern dance company called Tributary Dance with Director Amanda Whitworth in Plymouth, NH.  Holmes values the arts and enjoys collaborating with students, faculty, staff, and a team of artists to develop future trends in dance and arts education.
